Pork Pie Charity Run 2011
It is 30 years since the film "Goodbye Pork Pie" so to celebrate we and 49 other Minis are following the route taken in the film over Easter this year.
We completed the 2009 Pork Pie run and had such a great time we are doing it again.
To make the challenge more interesting we are doing the run in an old classic 1962 Mini Countryman (woody). After a refurbish (it hasn't been on the road since 2006) it is now finished and ready for the sponsors sign writing. Note the period accessories and if any one has an old long surf board I am sure it would look good on the roof rack.
We'll do all the hard work; driving long hours and covering long distances to complete this road run from Kaitaia to Invercargill, but we really need your help to make a difference to the children at Starship.
